NEW LOCATION:

Extended Care is now in the Small Hall, right by the gym.  This has worked out to be very convinient and easy for parents to pick up the children.  The new phone number for Extended Care is:  526-5891

 

DESCRIPTION:

St. Stanislaus Parish School provides an Extended Care program to all students attending St. Stanislaus Parish School.  The program consists of supervised play and activities.  Students who choose to do homework will be provided with a quiet area in which to work.  It is not the responsibility of the Extended Care Program to ensure the completion of homework.  Supervision is available from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on all school days except on the beginning of a holiday when school is dismissed at 12:00 p.m.  Parents/guardians will be notified of any exceptions via the weekly Principal's Newsletter or from the Extended Care Program supervisors.  The Extended Care Program ends promptly at 6:00 p.m.

Fees:

Registration Information / Forms: The registration fee for Extended Care is $25 per family.  Please complete the Extended Care Program registration form included in the packet sent home and return it to the school.  Since this is a drop-in program all families must fill out the Extended Care registration form.  There is no obligation to utilize the program.  However, if an emergency arises and you are unable to pick up you child(ren), we will already have the necessary emergency information.

Extended Care charges are computed monthly.  A bill will be sent from the office in the "Family Envelope."  Delinquency in paying Extended Care charges may jeopardize a family's continued use of the program.

Late Charges: The Extended Care program ends at 6 p.m. $1.00 per minute after 6 p.m. will be assessed.  Late charges are applied for EACH occurrence when parents have picked up their child(ren) late.

Reminders

  1. Morning & Afternoon Extended Care is $3.10 per hour for the first child and $3.00 per hour for siblings.

  2. If a student is checked into Extended Care after school, a minimum of 1 hour will be charged.

  3. A late feel of $1.00 per minute will be assessed for late pick-ups.

  4. There will be no Extended Care available on any day there is no school.  There will also be no Extended Care available after school on November 21st, December 20th, March 20th & June 6th.

CHECK IN/OUT PROCEDURES:

All students remaining on campus 15 minutes after dismissal will be checked into the Extended Care program.  Those students, who are involved in any after school activities such as choir, Boy/Girl Scouts, sports etc., must notify Extended Care of their whereabouts.  Parents or other authorized person must personally pick up their child and sign the child out on the sheet provided. 

STUDENT BEHAVIOR:

Students are expected to follow the established school rules while attending the Extended Care Program.  Parents of uncooperative students will be notified of disciplinary incidents and disciplinary referrals will be given.  If the student continues to exhibit a lack of cooperation, s/he will not be allowed to continue with the program.
