Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory

In November, the 5th grade class spent the day at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory Discovery Center, experiencing the Super Science Program.  The students were able to learn and study about earthquakes, use the energy bikes, and experience the density of different materials.  Later, they went into a lab and watch one of the lab chemists perform different experiments.  The students needed to be on their toes, since they had to answer questions as well as get up and help with the experiments.  It was a fun and informative day for both the students and their parents.
